Why Our Work Is Different

We combine world-class performance skills training with practical industry knowledge and experience. We train the capacity underneath the surface cues, so leaders and advocates can meet any moment — not just the ones they expect.

Every Vox Vera Coach is a conservatory-trained performance professional, immersed in Vox Vera's methodology and certified in Patsy Rodenburg work. Each works with accomplished professionals at every level. Founder diagnosis and intensives bring the same conservatory-level performance craft together with peer-level BigLaw litigation, elite law school teaching, and Fortune 50 senior managerial experience.

Private Speaking & Presence Coaching for Lawyers, Executives, and Leaders

Focused development and Performance Intensives™ for lawyers and leaders preparing to advocate, present, negotiate, and lead.

Private coaching intensives built around observable professional performance: assessment, individual development, and direct application to the rooms that matter — oral argument, trial practice, board and shareholder presentations, pitches, keynotes, negotiations, lectures, and leadership communication.

"Since we met I’ve had a board meeting and just yesterday moderated a panel . . . . . One of my colleagues actually came up to me after the board meeting and commented that I seemed especially clear and relaxed . . . and this panel yesterday was probably the most confident I’ve ever felt on a stage." — President & CEO, National Education Organization

Other Ways to Work With Us

Core Intensive

Four focused individual sessions with a Vox Vera Associate Coach in the fundamentals of presence, voice, advocacy, or presentation — a first argument, a deposition, a client meeting, a CLE panel, a pitch. For foundational speech and delivery skills that do not require direct founder involvement.

Founder Intensive

Limited-availability engagements with Paul Marchegiani as the primary coach throughout — typically four to six sessions, scoped to the matter or the room: argument, pitch, board update, negotiation, shareholder call, interview, or leadership moment.

"Paul is a master guide to understanding your own capabilities and has recharged my confidence to speak, connect, and deliver with my stakeholders." — Senior Program Manager, Fortune 500 Company

How Private Engagements Work

Engagements are delivered via Zoom by default, with in-person sessions available in New York and Los Angeles. We can travel elsewhere, with travel arranged separately.

Sessions are confidential to you. Session content is not recorded, unless you wish to do so for private use. Client-supplied materials are returned or deleted at the close of the engagement, and the written performance note goes to you only.

When an organization sponsors the engagement, it receives confirmation of participation. It does not receive session contents or the performance note. Where the work touches specific matters, we run a conflicts check first and handle matter information as your firm would, subject to strict confidentiality standards.

Engagements are fixed-fee, time-bound, and scoped on inquiry. Additional preparation, consulting, or matter-specific work is scoped as required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Core Intensive and a Performance Intensive™?

A Core Intensive is four one-on-one sessions with a Vox Vera Associate Coach, working on foundational principles and focused on current development needs. A Performance Intensive™ adds pre-engagement video review, a joint founder diagnostic at the start, a capstone founder intensive at the end of the four coaching sessions, and a written development summary. It is built for senior lawyers, executives, and leaders preparing for a consequential moment over six to eight weeks.

What do clients bring to work on during the sessions?

Real material: an upcoming oral argument, a board update, a keynote, a client pitch, a job talk, a negotiation framing, a mission statement, a personal story, or a recording of a recent performance. The work focuses on what you are actually preparing for.  In addition, because language and the humanities are core to our approach, expect that we may bring brief literary excerpts, poems, or storytelling exercises into the work.

Can the engagement focus on a specific argument, pitch, or presentation?

Yes. Every engagement is scoped to the matter or the room, with specific goals in mind. For Performance Intensives™, the Founder intensive is dedicated to practicing and refining the upcoming performance you are preparing for.

Are sessions confidential if my firm or company is paying?

Yes. Sessions are strictly confidential, both with respect to client development and goals and matters discussed. A sponsoring organization receives confirmation of participation only. Assessments, session content, and the written development summary stay with you.

Do you coach in person?

Zoom is the default. In-person sessions are available in New York and Los Angeles, and we can travel for scoped engagements elsewhere. Travel is arranged separately.

How are engagements priced?

Every engagement is fixed-fee and time-bound, scoped to the program and the matter, and quoted on inquiry. We do not bill by the hour for our packages, and engagements do not continue indefinitely.

Don't Just Project Confidence. Embody It.
